• What is the concept of La Noccemada?
    It is an exclusive holiday place for 2 to 6 guests, in an idyllic setting with no neighbours, offering an unusual lodge with private jacuzzi and a deluxe suite in the main house. The pool is shared. A private chef prepares refined meals in an elegant setting.
    We are not a campsite, not a gîte, and not a classic B&B. We offer a guest house with dedicated entrances and private rooms.
  • Can I come with my children?
    No, we do not accept children under 16. Our concept is adults only.
  • Can I invite friends?
    You may invite friends to join you for dinner. In that case only, friends are welcome. However, they cannot come just to enjoy the pool or the jacuzzi, nor to party if no meal is booked.
  • Can I cook my own meals?
    No. Our property is run as a guest house with table d’hôtes. There is no guest kitchen. On site, the chef will delight you with his dishes. La Noccemada works just like a hotel with a restaurant.
    If you love cooking, we also offer cooking workshops.
  • Can I bring my own wine?
    No. Our income comes from selling nights, meals and drinks. We hold a restaurant licence. If you bring a bottle bought elsewhere and ask us to provide glasses, serve it and wash everything without any charge, then this place is not the right concept for you.
    Let us share the same basic courtesy: please consume what you order from us.
  • Can I arrive earlier or leave later?
    No, please respect the schedule and arrive on time: check-in from 4:00 pm (not earlier), check-out by 11:00 am at the latest.

    Why? We need time to prepare the accommodation between departures and arrivals. We do not only clean the room: we also maintain the 5,000 m² garden, take care of the pool, change the jacuzzi water, do the laundry, and we need a short breathing space.
    We can accept an early arrival or late departure with an extra charge, and lunch will be included. This option is only available when booking directly on our website.
  • Can I cancel my booking?
    All bookings are firm and final. Deposits are due and non-refundable.
    If you are unsure because of potential last-minute issues (work, illness, etc.), we offer a postponement guarantee that allows you, up to 15 days before arrival, to move your stay once within the same season free of charge.
    Weather, changes in your holiday dates or any other personal reason are not valid reasons for cancellation. We may offer a postponement only if we consider the stay to be unsafe due to forecasted extreme weather events.
  • Can I privatise the pool?
    No. The pool belongs to the owners and is shared with our guests. La Noccemada is first and foremost our home.
    Please do not be offended if, in the middle of summer, we decide to go for a quick dip.
  • Do you accept naturism?
    No, for the moment this is not an option we offer.
  • Do you cook kosher or halal?
    We can adapt by serving fish and avoiding shellfish if needed. Please let us know at the time of booking if you plan to dine with us.
    The concept of a table d’hôtes is to share a single menu based on local produce.
  • What makes your table d’hôtes special?
    Stephan is both the owner and the chef at La Noccemada. He worked for eight years in palaces, on yachts and in Michelin-starred restaurants all over the world.
    La Noccemada is renowned for its table, which offers refined dishes that change every day, with elegant plating. We serve our guests at the table but cannot sit and eat with them, as we are busy serving and these dishes are technical and time-consuming to prepare. We try to stay close and available without intruding on your privacy.
  • What can I do at La Noccemada?
    Besides the jacuzzi, the pool and three different outdoor lounges where you can relax and read, we offer cooking workshops as well as painting and drawing workshops.
    On request, we can also organise massages and private concerts with our partners (gipsy music, violin, or other artists on demand).

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS – Rental agreement

The guest rooms of La Noccemada are operated by La Noccemada, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) registered under SIREN 921 575 411 – SIRET 92157541100019 – EU VAT number FR41921575411.

PAYMENT

Bookings are considered firm as soon as the stay has been paid at the time of reservation. Deposits are non-refundable. We accept payment by credit card and bank transfer.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Guest check-in is strictly between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The accommodation must be vacated by 11:00 am at the latest.

Early arrival or late departure: subject to agreement, we charge an extra fee and lunch will be included.

MEALS

Continental breakfast is included for guests who book directly on our website and via certain partner platforms.

On request, and with an extra charge, we serve meals at lunchtime or in the evening.

Guests cannot demand à-la-carte dishes: La Noccemada is a table d’hôtes, with a single menu. We do our best to accommodate food allergies. Guests are free to have lunch or dinner elsewhere if they prefer. Meal reservation is recommended 24 to 48 hours in advance, as we work exclusively with fresh products and cannot create last-minute menus.

We do not serve halal or kosher meals, as our local suppliers do not offer these options. However, we can prepare fish-based menus if needed.

MINIBAR

La Noccemada holds a restaurant licence that allows us to sell drinks and alcohol during meals. We provide a small fridge with drinks for sale, clearly priced on a display board. The minibar is not meant for chilling guests’ own drinks purchased elsewhere, nor for storing food.

OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINKS

No food or drink purchased outside the property may be consumed on site without prior approval from the management. Failure to respect this rule may result in the immediate termination of your stay.

SWIMMING POOL

The swimming pool is shared. It is open at all times except during maintenance. It is forbidden to swim when the cleaning robot is operating in the pool. Guests are fully responsible for how they use the pool. In case of drowning or injury, the guest and their family waive any claim against La Noccemada.

JACUZZI

The jacuzzi is available on request from 8:00 am to 10:30 pm. Only La Noccemada staff are authorised to start, adjust or stop the jacuzzi. Incorrect settings can lead to unsanitary water and potential health issues. Closing the jacuzzi is also handled by the staff.

SMOKING

All our rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed only outside, in the designated areas.

ADULTS ONLY

We cannot accommodate children under 16.

PETS

Pets are not allowed on the property. We already have a dog, a cat and a horse, but they are not permitted in the rental areas.

TOURIST TAX

A tourist tax of €0.98 per person per day is charged in addition to the rental price. Our accommodation rates include 10% VAT. They are based on current tax regulations and may be adjusted according to the taxes applicable at the time of your stay.

VAT

Alcoholic beverages are subject to 20% VAT. All additional services are also subject to 20% VAT. These rates may change according to tax regulations in force at the time of your stay.

DAMAGES

Guests are 100% liable for any damage they cause on the property. Repair costs may be deducted from the security deposit. If the deposit does not cover the damage, guests may turn to their insurance or will have to pay the remaining amount themselves.

CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF STAY

La Noccemada allows you to change, but not cancel, your stay dates once within the same season. You must subscribe to our postponement guarantee at the time of booking only, and it applies only if your request is made at least 15 days before arrival. If you book via a third-party platform, we do not handle their cancellation insurance: you will be charged if you cannot honour your booking.

In case of severe weather or imminent danger (fire, flooding or other) threatening guests’ physical safety, the owners may ask guests either to move to another room in the main house or to leave the premises if the situation is unsafe. In this case, an additional stay of the remaining length will be offered later in the same season. No refund will be made in such force majeure situations.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE

We do not offer cancellation insurance. In case of a cancelled or shortened stay, no refund of deposits will be made.

PHOTOGRAPHS & IMAGE RIGHTS

Guests may accept or refuse to appear in our photographs. If they agree to be photographed, they undertake not to request removal of the images, and La Noccemada may use these visuals on any medium, without time or territorial limitation.
